Seitz"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Associate Professor of Cultural Geography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David K. Seitz is a critical geographer of liberal multiculturalism broadly interested in the relationships between fantasy, politics, and urban space. He is the author of two books,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nebraskapress.unl.edu\/nebraska\/9781496227997\/\"><em>A Different &#8216;Trek&#8217;: Radical Geographies of &#8216;Deep Space Nine&#8217;<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.upress.umn.edu\/9781517902148\/a-house-of-prayer-for-all-people\/\"><em>A House of Prayer for All People: Contesting Citizenship in a Queer Church<\/em><\/a>. Alongside his work in the HSA department at HMC, Prof. Seitz is affiliated faculty in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgu.edu\/departments\/cultural-studies\/\">Cultural Studies Department<\/a>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cgu.edu\/\">Claremont Graduate University<\/a>, and core faculty in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrippscollege.edu\/departments\/american-studies\">American Studies Program<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;Claremont Colleges.
