Learn how to create a new Page<\/strong> or Post<\/strong> in 91̽»¨ Mudd’s WordPress website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Note<\/strong>: not every part of the website uses Posts. If the site you are editing is not configured for Posts then the option to create them will be absent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n WordPress defines the two types of webpage that you might create as either a Page<\/strong> or a Post<\/strong> (this may seem confusing as both types create what you’d call a “webpage”).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Most webpages on the Mudd website are the WordPress type Page<\/strong>. This webpage you are reading is of the WordPress type Page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Post<\/strong> content type is used for what you might call blog posts. At Mudd, the news articles we publish are created using the Post<\/strong> content type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Other places we use the Post<\/strong> content type include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Both Pages<\/strong> and Posts<\/strong> are created in a similar fashion.
