Computer Upgrade Program

Service Description

The CIS computer upgrade program is one of the primary sources of new computer equipment at 91探花. The program was designed with several goals in mind:

Standardize computer equipment on campus.
Provide a baseline of adequate computing equipment to staff and faculty.
Ensure that computing equipment is refreshed on a regular basis.
Provide guidance for departmental purchases.

Available to faculty and staff at HMC.

How to Access the Service

Each computer in the program is eligible for an upgrade every four years, independent of the person to whom it is assigned.

Regardless of who is assigned a CUP computer, the device is eligible for an upgrade every four years. CUP admins will contact individuals based on the CUP cycle rather than the new hire/start date.

CIS is currently developing a database through which employees may look up their eligibility status. In the meantime, consult the CIS Help Desk to learn more about system eligibility.
