Welcome to life after college! There are many great ways to stay connected to Mudd even after you leave its campus. To begin your journey as a Mudder in the wild, complete the items on our bucket list below. Look at that – we’ve even checked the first one off for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go GOLD.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join HMC’s GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Society<\/a>. CHECK!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep us in the loop.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Make sure we have your updated information! Many of our event invitations are sent only to alumni within a specific geographical area or field of employment. You can update your contact information and personal details online<\/a>, or you can just email us at gold@hmc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plug yourself in.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you haven’t already, activate your account on MudderNet<\/a>, HMC’s online networking platform for alumni and students. If you’ve already set up your account, make sure to add new employment, education and location information when things change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get social.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Find alumni news and discussion on Discord (email gold@hmc.edu<\/a> for invitation), Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a> and LinkedIn<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read your email.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the easiest way to stay connected is to simply read what we send you. You’ll receive monthly alumni e-newsletters and quarterly publications of 91̽»¨ Mudd Magazine, as well as Mudd Monday emails containing specific information for recent grads (sent on the first Monday of each month for your first year after graduation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet your people (live version).<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wherever you land, there are ways to find and meet Mudders in your local area. Search by geographical location on MudderNet<\/a> or watch your email for invitations to events and meetups in your local area<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet your people (digital version).<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Virtual events<\/a> are a thing! Tune in on Zoom for Mudd Talks, Alumni Virtual Hangouts, Alumni Identity Intersections, and other online opportunities to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support your community.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Volunteering<\/a> is a fun and rewarding way to stay connected with fellow Mudders and give back to your community!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come back to Mudd.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us on campus for\u00a0Alumni Weekend<\/a>\u00a0festivities each Spring. There are programs for everyone, and young alumni get a discount on registration and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark your first milestone.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join your classmates to celebrate your One-Year Reunion! We’ll host a special gathering during Alumni Weekend to mark your first year post-Mudd. You can also join the reunion event virtually if you can’t make it in-person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pay it forward.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you’re in a position to do so, consider making your first gift<\/a> as an alum. Participation matters, and every gift of any size really does make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
