Additional scholarship support for international students comes from funds by the Grover-McManus, and Kotecha families. International students are also eligible for most of 91̽»¨\u2019s merit-based awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Merit-based awards that do not require a separate application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>So International Scholarship (see below)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/admission\/afford\/scholarships-and-grants\/merit-based-scholarships\/harvey-s-mudd-merit-award\/\">91̽»¨ S. Mudd Merit Award<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/admission\/afford\/scholarships-and-grants\/merit-based-scholarships\/esterbrook-award\/\">Esterbrook Merit Award<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/admission\/afford\/scholarships-and-grants\/merit-based-scholarships\/rif-scholarship\/\">RIF Scholarship<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Merit-based awards that require a statement of interest:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/admission\/afford\/scholarships-and-grants\/merit-based-scholarships\/first-scholarship\/\">FIRST Robotics Scholarship<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hmc.edu\/admission\/afford\/scholarships-and-grants\/merit-based-scholarships\/vex-scholarship\/\">VEX Scholarship<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So International Scholarship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Established by Yuen Sang and Yu Yuen Kit So, parents of Peter (&#8217;86) and Paul (&#8217;88) So, the Yuen Sang and Yu Yuen Kit So International Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to international students and non-citizens living in the United States and attending 91̽»¨. The Office of Admission selects one recipient for each entering class based on superior academic performance as shown in the application for admission. The So award is offered regardless of financial need. The award is automatically renewed for the scholar\u2019s second year, but continuation of the award is contingent upon maintaining a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
